if q1 and q2 sperated at a distance r then force F1 =Kq1q2 ----------- r² if charges are halved that means q1/2 and q2/2 and the distance between them is doubled . then... let new force =F2 F2 = kq1/2 q2/2 --------------------- ( 2r)² => kq1q2 ----------- 4 -------------------- 4r² after cancellation you will get same i.e F1=F2
