They think that Lancho has a great belief in god , So they decided to help him with collecting money for Lancho from all the employees and finally they collect 70pesos for him

He decided to resolve lencho's problem by collecting some money from his employees, close friends as 'an act of charity' and he himself gave some part of his salary. He put the money in an envelope addressed to lencho with a letter which contained only a single word as a signature written God.

Because they didn't want to unbelievable or blind trust of lencho on god. So the postmaster helps him by giving his salary and collecting from others for kindness . Atlast he gave 70 pesos to lencho.
