P(x) = x2 - 4,
= (x)2 - (2)2
=(x-2) & (x+2)
Zeroes are 2 & -2 since p(2)= p(-2)=0. Once we find zeroes, we can easily find the factors. For this equation x2-4=0, factors are (x-2) & (x+2) using remainder theorem.
