MKS is the system of units based on measuring lengths in meters, mass in kilograms, and time in seconds. MKS is generally used in engineering and beginning physics, where the so-called cgs system (based on the centimeter, gram, and second) is commonly used in theoretic physics. MKS and CGS system of measurement are widely used and are considered easier too because most of the object that we use in our daily life are smaller in size which is easily measured MKS and CGS system. Physical quantity: Those quantities which can be measured are known as physical quantity.
