exchange of gases takes place in stomata there are two guard cell like structure which sea and see the entry of the gases because if anyany foreigner foreign material would enter the cell he will destroy the whole cell and the lysosome will get blast so that's why there are guard cells which allow only some gases to get in like oxygen and water because they need plants need carbon dioxide as well as oxygen to make food that's why there are stomata which see that other material would not enter the cell. plants take carbon dioxide during daytime to perform their photosynthesis process. the Oxygen gas which is released during photosynthesis process is used by plants in small amount for this respiration. And during night time plants take Oxygen gas for their respiration and release carbon dioxide form during during the daytime after this process plants oxygen plants release oxygen and we smell that oxygen so that we can survive because we need to survive on this earth if we will not survive there would be no future if there will be no future we will have to live in this normal land so that's why this process is important
