The pillars of democracy refer to the intellectual foundations that support the philosophy of democracy. The four pillars of democracy are equity(Executive), representation(Legislature), freedom(Media), and justice(Judiciary). The pillars of freedom are Speech, Religion, the Press, and Assembly.
