Let we assume that 2-√3 is R.N Therefore, it can be written as 2-√3=p/q => 2-√3= p/q => p - 2q/q = √3 since, p and q are integer Therefore, p/q is R.N Therefore, p - 2q/q is also a R.N Therefore, √3 is also a R.N But we know that √3 is irrational number Here is a contradiction So, we finally say that 2 - √3 is irrational number
