"Karl Marx" and "Friedrich Engels" are two famous socialist who introduced communist system. They introduced an economic system known as Marxism. In this system, the "government controls all the resources" in an economy and then distribute it equally among all the members of the society. Thus, ensuring equality and making sure that there is no division in the society. Marx also promoted the "theory of materialism" according to which religion, social values, etc are all a part of economy.
