Let the 2 consecutive no. be x and x+1..
According to question,
x + (x+1) = 73
2x+1=73
2x=72
Hence x=36
So, consecutive numbers are 36 and 37.
(Your question is sum of two consecutive even numbers whose sum is 73 but sum of even numbers is even.)
