IN BELGIUM, ᴏғ ᴛʜᴇ ᴄᴏᴜɴᴛʀɪᴇs ᴛᴏᴛᴀʟ ᴘᴏᴘᴜʟᴀᴛɪᴏɴ, 59% sᴘᴇᴀᴋs ᴅᴜᴛᴄʜ. ᴀɴᴏᴛʜᴇʀ 40% sᴘᴇᴀᴋ ғʀᴇɴᴄʜ. ʀᴇᴍᴀɪɴɪɴɢ 1% sᴘᴇᴀᴋs ɢᴇʀᴍᴀɴ. ɪɴ ᴛʜᴇ ᴄᴀᴘɪᴛᴀʟ ᴄɪᴛʏ ʙʀᴜssᴇʟs, 80% ᴘᴇᴏᴘʟᴇ sᴘᴇᴀᴋ ғʀᴇɴᴄʜ ᴡʜɪʟᴇ 20% sᴘᴇᴀᴋ ᴅᴜᴛᴄʜ. IN SRI LANKA, 74% OF SINHALA SPEAKERS AND 18% OF TAMIL SPEAKERS. AMOUNG TAMILS THERE ARE TWO SUB-GROUPS , SRILANKAN TAMILS AND INDIAN TAMILS. MOST OF THE SINHALA SPEAKING PEOPLE ARE BUDDHIST, WHILE MOST OF THE TAMILS ARE HINDUS OR MUSLIMS. THERE ARE ABOUT 7% CHRISTIANS, WHO ARE BOTH TAMIL AND SINHALA.
