•We know that -- •Sum of the zeroes = -(coefficient of x/coefficient of x²) • -3+(-2)= -5/1 • -5=-5 • LHS= RHS • And product of the zeroes = (constant term / coefficient of x²) •. -3(-2)= 6/1 •. 6=6 •. LHS=RHS

By splitting middle term-. X²+5x+6 = x²+2x+3x+6= x(x+2) + 3(x+2) Hence the zeroes of the polynomial are (x+3) and (x+2) i.e.. x=-3 and x=-2
