Copper metal is more reactive than silver metal thus, when copper spoon is kept immersed in silver nitrate solution for some time, it displaces silver from silver nitrate solution.
Reaction involved
Cu + 2AgNO3 ---> Cu(NO3)2 + 2Ag
The grey solid crystal of Ag metal are seen growing on the copper spoon and solution turns blue in colour.

Bcz copper will displace silver from silver nitrate,forming copper nitrate..as copper is more reactive than silver
