We have two cases: (either A is chosen) or (A is not chosen). CASE-1. When A is chosen: In this case A is chosen and B is chosen. So, we must choose 4 persons out of remaining 6. required number of ways= 6^C⁴= 6^C²== 6×5/2×1=15 CASE-2. When A is not chosen: In this case, we have to choose 6 persons out of 7. required number of ways=7^C^6=7^C¹=7. Combining both the cases, we have: total number of ways=(15+7)=22
