Silver chloride the stored in dark bottles in order to prevent the exposition of silver chloride to sunlight. Because if silver chloride is exposed to sunshine then it will undergo decomposition reaction and turn into silver and chlorine gas

Dark coloured bottles interrupt the path of light such that light cannot reach silver chloride in the bottles and its decomposition is prevented. It is known that silver chloride decomposes to silver and chlorine in the presence of light.
