Directive Principles of State Policy

They are provided in Part III of the Constitution.

They are provided in Part IV of the Constitution.

They are justiciable and citizens can seek protection from a High Court or Supreme Court.

They are not justiciable or enforceable by any court of law.

They are privileges for citizens to enjoy.

They are to be used by the government to create privileges for the citizens.
