Reserve bank of india supervises the functioning of formal loans. It sees that it give loans not just to profit making business but also to small traders and farmers. The banks have to submit the information to the RBI on hiw mush they are lending ti whom at what intrest rate etc.....

The role of RBI = 1- It issue note ------------------------ 2- it is the banker of bank it supervise all other bank 3- it helps in controlling of credit 4- it customize of foreign reserve 5- it also helps in international monetary fund
