in triangle abc we have angle 1,2and 3 draw a line parallel to line bc let the angels be 4and5 angle 4+angle 5+angle 1=180°(linear pair) angle4=angle2 (alternate interior angles are equal) angle5=angle3 (-----------------------||----------------------------) substituting angle 4and 5 we get angles 2+1+3=180°(bcoz 4=2,5=3) hence prived that angle sum property of triangle is180°
