area of ∆ABC is 4

x1 = x
x2 = 1
x3 = 0

y1 = 0
y2 = 1
y3 = 2

• area of ∆ABC :-

{tex}= \frac{1}{2} ( x_1(y_2 - y_3) + x_2(y_3 - y_1) + x_3(y_1 - y_2)){/tex}

{tex}4 = \frac{1}{2} (x(1 - 2) + 1(2 - 0) + 0(0 - 1)){/tex}

8 = x - 2x + 2
8 - 2 = - x
6 = - x
x = - 6

So, the value of x is ( - 6 )
