A wire of resistance 5 ohm is bent in the form of a closed circle. Find the resistance between two points at the ends of any diameter of circle.

1.25 ohm Whole wire = 5 ohm. Two points across diameter are connected by two 2.5 ohm piece (each half of original) in parallel. 1/R = (1/2.5)+(1.25) = 2/2.5 R=1.25 ohm
