These two are components of starch Amylose is less branched Soluble in water Constitutes 15-20% starch Glycosidic linkage take place bw C1-C4 of alpha glucose In amylopectin... It is not soluble in water due to high branching Constitutes abt 80% of starch Glycosidic linkage take place bw C1 C4 carbon of alpha glucose and branching bw C1 and C6
