Law of inertia is newtons 1st law of motion..which says that an object will remain in rest until an external force is applied...and acceleration is different one

Praneet Kaur 6 years, 1 month ago

Yes I know the definition of inertia but when I study acceleration I am confused

Manjay Jha 6 years, 1 month ago

Law of inertia states that if a body is at rest it will remain at rest and if a body is in motion it will remain in motion until and unless an external force is applied. Law of acceleration states that the acceleration of a body is proportional to the force applied.
