Conditions of slaves in roman empire was very harsh. They were asked to work in fields which was very dangerous for their health as there was a disease called malaria. Their life was controlled by the lords. They were forced to produce more children si in the near future the need of slaves would not decline. They were treated badlly. They were supposed to live with their lord and they didn't get any wages.
