STYLE:

  • It is the structure that attaches stigma with ovary.
  • The pollen tube has to pass through style in order to reach the ovary.

POLLEN TUBE:

  •  It is not a part of female reproductive part but a special structure formed when pollen grain lands on stigma to transfer pollen grain to ovary.
  •  It is a tube like structure formed due to release of chemicals.
