Phytohormone are also known as plant hormone these naturally occurring chemical substances that control growth and other physiological functions in plants and help in their growth and development 1.Auxin:-helps in cell elongation 2.gibberellin:- gowth of stem and overcoming genetical dwarfness in plant 3. Cytokinin:-remote cell division present in greater concentration in rapid growing plant part like fruit and seeds 4 abscisic acid:-growth retarding hormone versus the effect of auxin and gibberellin on plant growth 5. Ethylene:-promotes abscission of leaves ,essential for fruit ripening
