Its main aims and objectives are:

To maintain international peace and security.
To develop friendly relations among nations
To achieve international cooperation in resolving international, economic, social, cultural and humanitarian problems.
To work diligently for establishing peaceful relations among countries and for achieving the aims of UNO.
