Let p(x)=4+x2-x+2x2
=3x2-x+4
At x=-2
p(-2)= 3×(-2)2-(-2)+4
=3×4+2+4
=12+2+4
=18

So if polynomial p(x)= 4+x2-x+2x3
Then at x=-2
p(-2)=4+(-2)2-(-2)+2(-2)3
=4+4+2+2×(-8)
=10-16
=-6
