The differences between transport and communication are -
1. Transport is a means of carrying goods and people from one place to another. While communication is a process of sharing of ideas and thoughts between people.
2. Transport consists of roadways, railways and airways. Communication consists of radio, television and internet.
3. Transport helps to connect regions. Communication helps to connect individuals.
4. Transport can be under private or public ownership. Communication can be at a personal level or it may be mass communication.
5. Transport fulfils the economic needs as it helps in trade. Communication fulfils the social needs.
