Aseembly of elected representatives at national level is called parliament and at state level it is called legaslative assembly. ROLE OF PARLIAMENT 1) parliament is a final authority for making any law in the country. 2) parliament have control over the money which government have . 3) parliament exercise power over those who run the government . 4) parliament is the platform for debate based on government policy or any public issues.
