    1.Development of other two sectors have resulted in development of tertiary sector 2.If primary and secondary sector develops then it needs support of tertiary sector such as transport, communication, medication etc 3When people's income rises they demand more services,starts going on trips,in hotelsetc 4.These all things contribute to development of tertiary sector

    ◆A large no. of workers are engaged in services, such as small shopkeepers, repair persons, transporters etc. ◆Government policy of privatisation has also led to the growth of this sector. ◆As, ths income level rises, certain sections of people start demanding many more services, especially in big cities.
