In simple words if you want to differentiate the u can simply answer like this Dna has double strand whereas rna has single strand. Dna contains deoxyribose sugar whereas rna contains ribose sugar. Dna helps in transfer of genetic characters whereas rna helps in synthesizing proteins. Dna has ATGC nucleotide and rna contain AUGC. Dna is of one type and rna is of 3 type mrna rrna and trna. The sugar present in DNA is it 2 deoxyribose DNA contain cytosine thymine guanin adenin bases DNA has double standard alpha helix structure DNA has property of replication DNA control the transmission of hereditary the sugar present in RNA is d ribose RNA contain cytosine uracil guanine and adenin bases RNA has single stranded alpha helix structure of rNA has not property of replication of rNA control the synthesis of protein
