    Elastic limit of earth is 3×10^8N, since pressure exerted by the mountain is balanced by elastic limit of earth so, pgh is less than 3×10^8N/m2, density of mountain (p)=3×10^3kg/m3, so, pgh <3×10^8Nm^-2......3×10^3×10h <3×10^8.....10^4h <10^8N. ..h <10^4m..Therefore h <10000m or h <10km
