Circumference of base of cylinder = 22 cm

Height of cylinder = 7 cm

So,

Circumference=2 πr = 22 Given

r= 22/2 π= 22(7)/2 (22) = 7/2 = 3.5

Radius of cylinder = 3.5 cm

∴ Curved surface area of cylinder = 2 π rh = 2× 22/7 × 3.5 × 7= 2 × 22/7 × 3.5 × 7 = 44 × 3.5 = 154 cm²
