For solving ur problem first draw a perpendicular line to the centre and make a rt triangle where two sides Hypotenuse= 5 & another side 3 given ,so now find out another side which fall on half chord thay may Come out to be 4 by rt triangle theorem then double this value u will get CHORD = 8 cm.... hope u may understand.....
