The image od an object formed by a lens is of magnification -1. If the distance between the object and its image is 60cm, what is the focal length ot the lens? If the object is moved 20 cm towards the lens, where wouls the image be formed? State reason and also draw a ray diagram in support of your answer.

The lend used in is convex lens and the magnificent-1 tells that image at 2F' and object at 2F . So 2F =2F' from optical center So image and object distance from optical center is 30cm and focal length is 15cm In case 1 image is real and inverted When object move 20cm toward image mature began:in front of lens beyond pricipal axis and vitual and erect
