The sun is reddish at the time of sunrise and sunset because of the scattering of light by the molecules in air and by the fine particle present in the atmosphere.

Sun appear reddish at the tym of sunrise nd sunset bcoz at that tym sun is nearer to earth horizon nd light have to travel longer distance to reach during this traveling mist of the shorter wavelength light gets disappeared nd the longer wavelength light reaches us like red,orange etc.
