Why does plant take oxygen at night . And if they respire by using oxygen ,then why they release oxygen during day time? Dont they respire during day time?????

Plants do respire in the day time,but the energy need ofof plants is very less so they do not need much 02. But in the process of photosynthesis a huge amount of 02 is realeased n some part of it is used by plants for respiration while the rest of 02 is released into the environment. Hence we say that plants release 02 during day time?

Plants take oxysen at nyt bcz they do not perform photosynthesis at night. In the absence of photosythesis they do not produce oxygen so they take 02 from the environment?
