A wire having resistance of 10 ohm is bent to form a circle . What is the effective resistance between two points along any diameter of circle ?

When the wire is made into a circle and when 2 points int he ends of the diameter are considered then the resistor will get split up into 2
resistors each of 5 ohms and these 2 resistors will be in \\ connection
i.e..
 {tex} Re=(1/5+1/5)^(-1){/tex}  which we will get in substiting the \\ resistence formula
when we equate it we'll get 2.5 ohm
