Ozone is a layer of ozone gas with molecular formula as O3 in the stratosphere layer of atmosphere. It's main function is to protect human life and other bio diversity from harmful UV rays of the sun. CFC , mainly used in refrigerators is the chemical which damages ozone. However, use of CFC is banned in 2009.
