The disadvantages of fossil fuels are : (1) Burning of fossil fuels causes air pollution (2) Burning of fossil fuels releases acidic oxide which leads to acid rain which affects our water and soil resources (3) Greenhouse gas like carbon dioxide are also released on burning of fossil fuels (4) Fossil fuels are not burnt completely. They leave ashes after burning
