Too much acid rain can lower the ph of river water to such an extent that the survival of aquatic animals become difficult. The high acidity of river water can kill the aquatic animals..

Methanoic acid is injected in the skin of the person during an ant sting and due nettle leaf sting...the effects can be neutralized by rubbing a baking soda on the stung area of the skin..
