The rich household are availing cheap credit from formal lenders whereas the poor households have to pay a heavy price for borrowing . The formal sector still meets only about half of the total credit needs of the rural people . The remaining credit needs are met fron informal sources.

Analysing the statement , it is concluded that :
  1. RBI should check the banks
  2. Loans should be equally distributed
  3. Collateral is must in formal sector
  4. Banks are not existing in rural area
