D.C.----------It cannot changes its direction,its electric charge becomes low after some distance so it is not used to supply electricity to our homes,exa--Remote cell..................... /////////////// A.C.----------It changes it's direction periodically,it can transmit electricity to long distances,exa--House electricity..............

In DC, electric charge flow only in 1 direction whereas in AC, electric charge changes its direction periodically...
