Pehle wala solution kar lo..vo sahi h...bas maine galti se distance of Object = 40 likh diya h...vha pe distance of image kar lo....and bye..ab so jao ????

By lens formula,
1/f = 1/80 + 1/40
1/f = 3/80
f = 80/3
f = 26.67 cm...

Height of object = 60cm , height of image = -30cm .
v+u = 40cm.....(1) .
Now, by magnification formula,
-v/u = 60/-30
v = -2u .....(2) .
Now, put the value of equation (2) in (1),
-2u+u = 40
=> u = -40cm .
And, v = -2u => -2 × (-40) => 80cm...

V means image distance hota h...and vha pe diya h..image is formes at a distance of 40cm.....to v = 40cm hi hoga na..?? ??

Using lens formula,
1/f = 1/v - 1/u
1/f = 1/40 + 1/80
1/f = 3/80
f = 80/3
f = 26.67 cm..

Height of Object = 60cm , height of image = 30cm , distance of object , v = 40cm .
Now, by magnification formula,
m = -v/u = height of image / height of Object.
-v/u = 30/60 => u = -80cm..
