1. Minerals occur in methamorphic rocks in veins and lodges. 2. In sedimentary rocks the minerals are present in between the thin layers of soil. 3. Minerals are also produced by the process of weathering. After weathering a solid mass of minerals can be obtained. Bauxite is found this way. 4. Various minerals flow with the river water and gets deposited in the base of the valley. Minerals kike gold and silver are found this way. 5. Minerals like sodium are extracted from the ocean water.
