Given that circumference of circle = 154 m
i.e 2 π r = 154 ⇒ r = 154 / 2 π
⇒ r = 154 x 7 / 2 x 22.
⇒ r = 49 / 2 = 24.5 m
∴ radiu of circle = 24.5 m
Area of circle A = π r²
A = π x 49 / 2 x 49 / 2 = 3773 / 2 = 1886.5 m² .
