It is used to lift a heavy load with a small force .it consist of two cylinders A and B of coss sectional area A1 ana A2 connected by a horizontal take pistons are fixed in both cylinders and the ststem is filled with fluid .the load which is to be filled is placed on piston A and force is applied on piston B. If force is applied on piston A,then P1=f1\A1 Let f2 is the force which acts on pistonB , then P1=f2\A1 From pascal's law p1=p2 F1\A1=f2\A2=f1\f2=A1\A2 A1<A2=A1\A2=<1 F1\F2<1= f1<f2 Notes=.……..
