* India has both vertucal and horizontal power sharing and it is not mandatory that in vertical power sharing the other levels would be suboordinate to the central govt. In the vertical power sharing arrangement of India,state and local govt are not suboordinate to d central govt

In Vertical power sharing, power is shared at different levels of government like central government, state government, local government.Here, upper government can dismiss lower government. Ex:-India In Horizontal power sharing, power is equally divided in all the levels of government.Here no one can dismiss any one.Ex:-U.S.A
