Euclid division lemma:-
a=bq+r
324=96(3)+36
96=36(2)+24
36=24(1)+12
24=12(2)+0
hcf of 324 and 96 is 12.
Now find the hcf of 12 and 56,
56=12(4)+8
12=8(1)+4
8=4(2)+0
hcf of 12 and 56 is 4.
Therefore, hcf of 56.96 and 324 is 4
