Effective resistance = 0.2 + 0.3 + 0.4 + 0.5 + 12 = 13.4 ohm.
By ohm law, I = V/R
9/13.4 = 0.67 A
All the resistance are connected in series. Hence, the current across 12 ohm resistance is 0.67A .
