In a exothermic reaction, heat and energy are released out. For eg. 1) C6H12O6 + 6O2--------> 6CO2 + 6H2O + ENERGY 2) CaO + H2O----------> Ca(OH)2 + HEAT In a endothermic reaction, heat and energy is absorbed. For eg. 1) CaCO3--heat----> CaO + CO2 2)2FeSO4---heat----> Fe2O3 + SO2 +SO3
